GPS Capital Markets Expands to Toronto and Vancouver
GPS is pleased to expand its footprint into Canada with the opening of the new offices and the new additions of Samuel Guirguis and Corey Ho as Regional Directors. Both Canadian offices will be overseen by Senior Regional Director, Mark Otterson.
The Toronto office will be managed by Samuel Guirguis, a highly-experienced Capital Markets professional and FX Trader. Prior to working for GPS, Samuel has worked for companies such as, Travelex, Scotiabank, Velocity Trade and Dundee Capital Markets in various FX Trading positions, as well as a VP and Managing Director. Samuel has served as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and has completed his studies in International Business Administration, at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

The Vancouver office will be headed up by Corey Ho. He has over a decade of experience in corporate foreign exchange, including tenure as Senior FX trader for Olympia Trust Company, as well as Co-Founder and CEO for MatchSpread Financial Technologies, a foreign exchange financial technology startup. He has a degree in Business Administration and Management Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
